Job Details
Sharda University, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow.
Project Title: “Snout Monitoring, Mapping, Mass and Energy Balance and assessment of Biophysical Environment of Naradu Glacier, Baspa Basin, District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh” (SR/DGH/HP-1/2009)
Qualification: Candidate should have first Class (60%) in M. Sc./M. Sc. (Tech.)/M. Tech. in Environmental Sciences/Physics/ Applied Geophysics/Geology with consistently good academic record. Candidates who have cleared NET/GATE, UGC- CSIR combined examination will be given preference. NET/GATE qualified candidates MUST attach an attested photocopy of NET/GATE qualifications with their application. Knowledge of computer language would be additional merit.
Desirable: Knowledge of remote Sensing and GIS is preferable.
Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- per month + 30% HRA.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on 31.12.2010.
Duration of Fellowship: The appointment will be made initially for one year and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance till the duration of the project i.e. up to 3 years.
